If you’re considering signing your child up for dance classes, KICKS Academy of Dance is an excellent place to start. We’re a family owned and operated dance studio with a staff full of experienced and knowledgeable instructors.
At KICKS, we aim to foster a love of dance in an environment that also builds self esteem. Our classes are fun, positive, and age appropriate for our kids. Our syllabus ensures that every year of dance instruction builds upon previous years. At the end of the year, students are able to display all of their hard work in our annual recital.
Class Offerings
3, 4 & 5 Year Olds
Our youngest dancers begin their education with our Fundamental Program. Here, we begin with the basics and work on rhythm, balance, and coordination. Another positive is that these classes teach the all-important lesson of classroom etiquette, which will benefit our students when they head to school.
Grades 1-12
After learning the essentials, students can build upon that foundation in our Classic Program. These classes introduce different styles of dance, ultimately allowing students to pick their favorite subjects to pursue. Our dance subjects include the following:
- Jazz
- Tap
- Ballet
- Lyrical
- Hip Hop
- Contemporary
Kids’ Dance Studio in Delaware County
The KICKS Academy of Dance studio is located in Springwater Plaza in Glen Mills. We’re a local studio convenient for all Delaware County families. Our updated dance studio is kept clean and cared for every day of the week to keep the environment as safe and welcoming as possible for our students.
We maintain six individual dance classrooms, a spacious lobby with two-way mirror glass for parents, and an allergy-friendly snack area. We have plenty of room for parents to hang out during classes and for students to get caught up on homework. During all class hours, the KICKS office staff is available for any questions you might have.
