When your child shows an interest in dance, it’s a great time to explore local dance classes. At KICKS Academy of Dance, our experienced instructors are dedicated to introducing kids to the art of dance in a way that is fun and boosts self confidence.
Our studio is a family owned and operated business, and we treat our staff and students like family as well. We’ve collaborated on a syllabus that ensures all dancers progress from year to year. Additionally, we maintain our family environment with only age appropriate music and costumes for our year-end recital.
Class Offerings
3, 4 & 5 Year Olds
Kids from 3-5 begin in our Fundamental Program, where they are taught the basics of dance. These basics include rhythm, coordination, balance, and even a foundation for classroom etiquette.
Grades 1-12
Once our students graduate from fundamentals, they enter the Classic Program. This program includes several styles of dance so that our students can make informed decisions on which types they’d like to continue to study. These dance subjects may include the following:
- Contemporary
- Lyrical
- Hip Hop
- Ballet
- Jazz
- Tap
Kids’ Dance Studio Local to Garnet Valley
The KICKS Academy of Dance studio can be found in Springwater Plaza, right off of route 202. We’re a very convenient stop for any families living in Garnet Valley. In addition to being convenient, our studio is state-of-the-art, carefully maintained each day of the week, and professionally cleaned.
Inside, you’ll find six separate dance classrooms, each with two-way mirror glass so parents can watch from the lobby. During class, we also maintain an allergy-friendly snack area and a staffed office available to answer any questions our parents may have.
