If your child is inspired to become a dancer, KICKS Academy of Dance is the perfect place to foster a love of dance that will last a lifetime. Our classes combine high quality instruction with a fun, positive environment sure to spark creativity.
The programs at KICKS are specifically designed to ensure that all kids learn and progress year after year. We also work hard to make sure that all aspects of our programs, from our music to our costumes, is age appropriate for the dancers. At the completion of each season, students are able to showcase their talents and hard work in our year-end recital.
Class Offerings
3, 4 & 5 Year Olds
Our Fundamental Program is a great way to introduce children ages 3 through kindergarten to dance by exploring coordination, rhythm, as well as the classroom environment. This is an important learning experience that can benefit children way beyond the dance realm.
1st Through 12th Grade
In our Classic Program, things become more challenging as students grades 1-12 progress through each level. We build on the foundations they’ve built and introduce new styles of dance, ultimately offering dancers the opportunity to choose their favorite subjects to pursue. Students learn to express themselves in the following subjects:
- Tap
- Jazz
- Ballet
- Hip Hop
- Lyrical
- Contemporary
Kids’ Dance Studio Local to Kennett Square
You can find KICKS Academy of Dance in Springwater Plaza, just off of route 202. Our facility is within a short drive for most families in the Garnet Valley school district. The KICKS studio is a state-of-the-art dance facility kept meticulously clean and offering all of the amenities our dancers and families could need.
We have six different dance classrooms so that several groups can utilize our building at once. The classrooms have two-way mirror glass so that parents can watch their children from the lobby without posing a distraction. Additionally, our facility includes a separate, allergy-friendly snack area so that even the busiest dancers never have to miss a meal. Our office staff is available during all class hours.

We have enjoyed being a part of the KICKS program and are so impressed at the wonderful job you all do!
