Is your child interested in entering the world of dance? KICKS Academy of Dance is just the place to spark his or her creativity through our fun and positive dance classes.
KICKS is a family owned and operated studio providing high quality dance education in an environment that promotes self confidence and self discipline. Our qualified instructors collaborate to create a syllabus that is consistent year-to-year and ensures that children progress at each level. We also put much effort into ensuring everything from our music to our costumes is age appropriate. At the end of each season, we produce a year-end recital where all students are able to perform and show off their hard work.
Class Offerings
3, 4 & 5 Year Olds
For ages 3 through kindergarten, our Fundamental Program is an excellent opportunity to learn the basics of dance, coordination, balance, rhythm, and more. Another important learning aspect is classroom etiquette.
1st Through 12th Grade
Our Classic Program offers kids in grades 1-12 the opportunity to challenge themselves with different styles of dance. Students choose their favorite subjects and solidify their foundation of dance knowledge as well as learn to express themselves through movement. Dance subjects include the following:
- Tap
- Jazz
- Ballet
- Hip Hop
- Lyrical
- Contemporary
Kids’ Dance Studio Local to West Chester
Our state-of-the-art facility is located in Springwater Plaza, just off route 202, a convenient stop for families in the West Chester school district. Our studio is professionally cleaned and maintained 7 days a week to create the best and safest environment possible for our students.
We maintain six separate dance rooms, an allergy-friendly snack area, and a lobby with two-way mirror glass so that parents can watch classes without the worry of distracting their children. Additionally, the KICKS office staff is available during all class times in case you have any questions.
