If you’ve been thinking about signing your child up for dance classes, KICKS Academy of Dance is the perfect place to introduce him or her to the art of dance. Our highly qualified instructors stress fun and self confidence in our programs.
We are a family owned and operated dance studio that has built a sterling reputation in the local area. We work tirelessly to ensure that all kids get the best possible dance education in a positive environment. At KICKS, our staff members collaborate on a syllabus that consistently builds as students progress each year. Additionally, we take measures to guarantee age appropriate music and costumes. At the end of the year, our dancers get to display all they’ve learned in a recital for family and friends.
Class Offerings
3, 4 & 5 Year Olds
Ages 3 through kindergarten are introduced to the basics of dance in our Fundamental Program. In these classes, we work on balance, rhythm, coordination, and perhaps most importantly, we teach about classroom etiquette.
Grades 1-12
As our students grow older, the Classic Program allows them to build on the dance knowledge they learn year after year. This program also incorporates several styles of dance to intrigue and challenge our students. Students are able to choose their favorite subjects to study. Dance subjects include the following:
- Contemporary
- Lyrical
- Hip Hop
- Ballet
- Jazz
- Tap
Kids’ Dance Studio Local to Chadds Ford
You can find KICKS Academy of Dance in Springwater Plaza, off of route 202. We’re a very short drive for families in the Unionville-Chadds Ford school district. Our state-of-the-art facility is professionally cleaned and cared for 7 days a week to maintain the safest environment possible for our dancers.
Inside the studio, there are six individual dance classrooms, a lobby with two-way mirror glass so that parents are able to watch in on classes, as well as an allergy-friendly snack area. During all class times, the KICKS office staff is available if parents have any questions or concerns.
